Over 50 years of experience in precision mechanical machining. From our founding in 1972 to today, MGR is synonymous with reliability and quality.
From a craftsman’s workshop
to an industry benchmark
MGR was founded in 1972 by Gino Mogetta, initially focused on assembly activities for the lighting sector. A clear vision from the very beginning: do things with precision, without compromise.
In 1985, his son Roberto joined the company and together they transformed MGR, expanding mechanical machining of die-cast accessories and mechanical components โ still the core business of the company today.
Over the years, cutting, turning, milling, threading, and mechanical assembly were added. MGR entered the home appliance, coffee machine, and lighting technology sectors, continuously implementing new mechanical components and expanding the range of services offered.

Foundation
Gino Mogetta launches the business: assembly work for the lighting sector. The MGR DNA is born โ precision and dedication to craftsmanship.
First steps โ 2 people, 250 mยฒ
Roberto joins his father. Work is carried out at home, in a 250 mยฒ space. Machining of mechanical components becomes the core business.
Recanati โ 1,300 mยฒ
MGR moves to a new 1,300 mยฒ facility in Recanati. The machine park expands, capabilities multiply: cutting, turning, milling, sawing, drilling, threading.
New sectors
MGR enters the home appliance, coffee machine, and lighting technology industries, implementing mechanical components and continuously expanding the range of services offered.
Montelupone โ 3,000 mยฒ
MGR moves to its new 3,000 mยฒ facility in Montelupone (MC), housing both the production department and offices. Automated warehouse, 24/7 robots, and the 5S method for optimal production management.
Excellence and continuous growth
ISO 9001 certified, with goals to obtain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. ~20 employees, 50% of whom are women. MGR is the go-to partner for those who accept no compromise on quality.

Saying it is not enough โ it must be proven. The ISO 9001 certification and the Organisational Model 231 are our written guarantee to every client, employee, and partner. We are also working towards obtaining ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (safety) certifications.

MGR srl’s management has set as its primary objective the maintenance of a system certified in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, integrating it โ albeit in a non-certified form โ with UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and UNI ISO 45001:2018.
